W32/Arcer Virus

 Virus Information - W32/Arcer Virus:

W32/Arcer is a virus. The virus will infect Windows systems.

Upon execution, it copies lclass.exel and svchots.exe in the Windows System folder.

It modifies the registry at the following location to ensure its automatic execution at every executable file is opened:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\exefile\shell\open\command

The virus searches for files having the extension .exe on the infected computer and infects them.

It collects System information and passwords from the infected computer.
