W32/Strat.FK Trojan

 Virus Information - W32/Strat.FK Trojan:

W32/Strat.FK is a trojan. The trojan will infect Windows systems and spreads through email.

The trojan will arrive as an attachment to a spammed email or as a dropped or downloaded file of another malware from a remote site.

Upon execution, the trojan copies itself as (randomly name).exe in the Windows System folder.

It then displays the a fake error message in an attempt to trick users to think that it is non-malicious and safe to open.

The dropped file then downloads another file, a possible malware, from the following URL:

http://www6.{BLOCKED}dfunjdaswuinjdeshihus.com/chr/841/nt.exe

This allows the downloaded file to perform its malicious routines on the system.
