W32/Spambot.AG is a trojan. The trojan will infect Windows systems.

The trojan will arrive as a downloaded file upon clicking the link in a spammed email.

Upon clicking the link mentioned in the email, it leads to download the malicious file from the following location.

http://[blocked].com/Barack_Obama-videostream.v182.exe

Upon execution, the trojan drops aspimgr.exe in Windows System folder.

The trojan registers itself as a service by modifying the registry at the following location.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\aspimgr
