 Virus Information - W32/Emcodec.B Trojan:

W32/Emcodec.B is a trojan. This trojan is a variant of W32/Emcodec. The trojan will infect Windows systems.

Upon execution, the trojan displays the EULA (End User License Agreement) for eMediaCodec which is the codec for Windows Media Player.

It also drops the following files.

ecodec.exe and uninst.exe in Program files folder.
regperf.exe in Windows System folder.

It also drops and executes a copy of another malware.
